Library Policies and Procedures
How to get a library card, replace a lost card, renew a book and lost and damaged items, limits on how many items can be borrowed.
Procedures
Library Cards :
- Library card applications can be accessed online or in person at the library
- There is no charge for a library card
To Replace a Lost card: There is no fee to replace a lost card. You may request a replacement card either in person or by using online the library card application form.
To Renew Materials:
- In person - request renewal at the Circulation Desk during your regular visit
- By phone: 231-768-4493
- Email us at: leroycommunitylibrary@gmail.com In the subject line type: Renew Materials for (Your Name). In the body of the email, list those items that you would like us to renew. If you would like us to renew all the items that you have checked out, simply put "renew all."
Lost or Damaged Items :
If an item is Lost or Damaged enough that it cannot be repaired and returned to circulation, the Borrower will be charged the cost of the item.
Policies
Loan Period:
- All items are checked out for two (2) weeks
- Most items can be renewed for an additional two (2) weeks
Fines for overdue items:
- Overdue items will be charged $.05/day after a two day grace period.
